Reach Out & Read

Cumberland Pediatrics is proud to announce that we have recently partnered with Reach Out & Read. Reach Out & Read is a national pediatric literacy program aimed to improve public health through reading. During your infant or child's well child visit from the newborn period up to 5 years old, our providers will be giving you a developmentally appropriate book to take home. We even have books in other languages, such as Spanish, for our bilingual households. It is our hope that these books will enhance reading in your home while having a positive impact on your child's language and communication development as well as strengthen your parent-child relationship and emotional connection.
