Routine Wellness Exams
Cumberland Pediatrics specializes in the care of your children from newborns through adolescence. Well Child exams focus on health maintenance, safety and disease prevention specific to your child's age. During these checks, measurements are taken to monitor your child's growth and development and vaccines are often given to prevent future illness. We recommend the following schedule:
- 1 week of age (after discharge)
- 1 month of age
- 2 months of age
- 4 months of age
- 6 months of age
- 9 months of age
- 12 months of age
- 15 months of age
- 18 months of age
- 2 years of age
- 3 years of age
- After 3 years, once a year
- Every 3 months for Asthma and ADHD Check ups

- Immunizations and Catch-up Immunizations
- Sports Physicals
- Same day sick appointments
- Separate on-site office dedicated to treating sick children
- Separate waiting rooms for well children, sick children, newborns and adolescents
- Nurse advice during business hours
- 24/7 after hours coverage
- Extended morning hours

- Lab services

Counseling and consultations for:
- Management of children with chronic childhood illnesses and children with special needs
- Breastfeeding/Lactation
- ADHD/behavioral disorders
- Nutrition counseling
- Childhood overweight and obesity counseling

- Prenatal tours of the office
